Phailure
Smoked this one a couple nights ago. Camera was out of batteries so no pitcha's this time. I'm pretty sure they're late '06. I threw away the box because it was consuming precious humi space. The wrapper was light brown and smooth. It had a slight hint of oil and a barnyard smell. The draw was perfect for me. A touch on the firm side. The opening third was peanut butter, cream, and earth. A nice subtle sweetness to it. Medium strength. Second third moved on to earth, dark chocolate, and spice. mmm dark bitter chocolate. Strength picks up a little in this third. Final third was similar to the second third but with the addition of a grapeskin/winey tannic note. Overall, the BCJ was very enjoyable. Quite suitable for a daily smoke. I'd give this particular sample an 88/100.
