Looks like she could be penelope's older sister/mum (granted I haven't seen penelope in a few years).

i met arancha sanchez vicario at one tournament. she was actually standing around and a mate started chatting away and i think she was really pleased to have someone to talk to other than bitchy tennis players and fawning officials. she could not have been nicer. though nevr quite provided the same distractions as some of the others.

Is this the Rittenhouse Square across from the Barclay? If so and if the park has the reputation that I've heard, what was SHE doing there???

» Come clean Ken. She looks a little Cuban which would be enough to have you

» reach for your Viagra and Ventolin puffer :-D

so how are things, flopping about there on that thin frozen h2o in your glass abode?

it never ends, does it. i can state categorically that i have never used/owned/seen etc etc viagra or ventolin. as you well know (perhaps tat could have been better phrased but you know what i mean)

i still think she looks a lot like a fit and healthy version of ms cruz. and if you find anything wrong with that, you can go and sit in the dodgy corner (not that there is anything wrong with it) with colt and his pin ups of ivan lendl.

» That is Chris Evert, ruled womens tennis from mid 70's to late 80's.

Chris Evert? Didn't he play QB for the Rams?

But that grunting that boarders on cheating and that little princess kiss she does after she wins just makes me want to punch her in the head.

New balls please , I've worn the fur off my old set

so final rankings, ignoring all the posts with which i didn't agree -

1. sabatini (no contest).

image5237.jpg

2. sharapova

image5238.jpg

ivanovic, graf and mary jo fernadez the next three.

kournakova and hautuchova honorable mentions.

under no circumstances, hingus.

» colt,

» i'll post soon but rule 1, indeed the only rule, was no one who is

» also, no votes for carling bassett (no, i couldn't remember her either).

» one mate has her number 1. for me, sabatini (colt, that would be gabriela,

» not frank or george or bruce or ivan - at least you got that one right)

» would take top spot.

To be honest, I'd probably put Chris Evert and Steffi Graf ahead of Hingis, but there's something about

the snarl on Hingis' face.....

As for Lendl, I thought most members would post women, and I didn't want you to feel left out.

I think one of us will be missing Heath a bit more than the other......

How soon we forget, or maybe you just aren't old enough to remember this American beauty.

Hot and a great tennis player too now there is a novel idea.

Career win-loss record in singles matches of 1,309-146 (.900) is the best of any professional player in tennis history.

Oh yeah 18 Grand Slam Singles Wins and 16 Runner up

I wouldn't put her as a DISTANT second, IMO

A close second maybe. But thats just me.
