Just a quick question...it sort of looks like the bottom of your boxes are stamped and not branded, especially in the last pic. Hard to tell in your pic and not trying to cause a stir. By the way, box codes really mean nothing these days, they rotate factory codes from what I understand.

Yeah the last pics was a little crappy but it's actually branded. I was just curious what the letters mean

The first three are the factory code for the factory the cigars were rolled in. They change quite a bit, and can be tough to figure out. Rob says the codes you have are from the Partagas Factory. Rob knows his stuff.

The second three letters and numbers that follow them are the month and year the cigars were boxed.

So the Hoyo are and Partagas are the same company?

Hoyo's are made throughout most of the Habana factories as are Partagas, Montecristo etc.

Just bought these cigars two days ago in El Slavador and wodering what code on back are? They are HDM petit rubosto and Monte Edmundo?
