I pulled this off another board this morning. There was a topic on the proper pronunciation a Padron. Which is it Pay-dron or pah-DRONE?

Neither: Padrón (notice the accent) PAH (a like park, not like pastry) DRON like "gone".

This will be very helpful as people ask me my favorite brands and I always have to say, "I hope I'm pronouncing this correctly."

Hey tater head you can barely speak english what makes you "the man" on the latin???:-P I do agree with your pronunciation however. Got lucky. What about our trade?

Man, Por Larranaga is a mouthful! My wife was cracking up as I kept trying to pronounce it. Guess I need the Spanish version of hooked on phonics....must have taken me 20 or so times to get it down. :lol2: Anyway, thanks for the link.
