brian1 Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Welcome back Prez, Not sure I have ever had a definate answer on this but can you or anyone who knows ("Deep Throat" maybe) shed some light on the claimed 3rd fermenation process of Cohiba's. Is this fact or BS. If fact how long extra is the raw leaf layed down for etc? Thanks

If fact how long extra is the raw leaf layed down for » etc? Thanks Fermentation refers to the tobacco piles being flipped after they reach a certain temp. Typically they are flipped twice. The 3rd fermentation isn't really the typical fermentation that other Habanos go through. Cohiba ages them in barrels for their 3rd fermentation...as far as I know. ~Mark
