Colt45 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 After finally joining the twenty first century and acquiring a butane torch, which I've been using for almost a year now, I've started to think about a soft flame for the rare occasions where I smoke indoors. In particular, I'm considering the IM Corona Double Corona lighter, and was wondering if any members have experience with it, good or bad. Or, any recommendations in a similar price range - around U.S. $100? I like the looks of the DuPonts, but just a bit pricey. Thanks for any thoughts.

I have a couple of different IM lighters(including a DC) and have been very satisfied with their quality to this point. Very reliable and consistent for me and others from reviews I read before purchasing mine.

I was able to buy a used Soft Flame Dupont lighter from a guy on another board and I love it. I will use it over my tourch flame anyday. I think I get a much better/more even light with soft flames.

Is the EX a soft flame? The only info I could find stated it was a blue flame torch.
