Sticky sticker trick

Azulene oil. I am told it is an oil to remove wax residue after hair removal. My wife had some lying around, I was desperate, and gave it a go. Everyone except Ken will have to google it.

Peel the sticker off carefully, then apply azulene oil to wood with a soft cotton rag/cloth (one that will not fuzz. I used a cloth diaper.) Slowly work small amounts of it over the afflicted area. It will remove the gummy residue and evaporate completely. It also works on non-varnished wood, but will stain it. A slight etherish odor is present but vanishes within a day maximum.

My latest Esplendidos will testify to the trickiness of this sticker trick.

I've always used Eucalyptus without an issue.

Eucalyptus oil also works.

There are some professional GOO removers which work. Best first to heat the sticker from a corner and slowly peel away as you heat. Use the goo or oils to remove residue.

Have a look around your house and it is amazing what you will find. No Ken....KY Jelly will not work.
