Duty Free at Sydney airport?

Hi Fellow Aussies,

Whats the cigar selection (any recommendations) like at Sydneys airport (am coming in from USA in Jan).

Any help much appreciated.

yeah it's okay, just have some quality control issues, mostly montecristo and romeo y julieta, but some cohiba, they have a paticularly good cognac selection though "drools"

If it's anything like Melbourne, then it's expensive as hell with little selection.

Was there a month or so ago - I wouldn't bother and from memory they basically charge Australian retail price (which is hugely inflated due to tax - check out the differences on the czar website between US and Aust pricing)

Then there are the storage issues - didn't look as though it was any good to me - basically it was a table like cabinet but the door was cracked open so one can only guess if the cigars were any good.

So basically don't bother and buy from the Czar over the net as it is cheaper and kept properly
