So now that we are well into the season who have been:

1. The surprise packet overachievers.

2. The Dismal underachievers.

3. Prognosis for your team and why.

1) I am honestly suprised with the Bucs and the Giants

2) CHICAGO BEARS!

3) Cowboys fan and I am pleased so far. The defense needs to tighten up a bit and I think they have a real opportunity to go far in the wide open NFC.

1. I agree Tampa Bay

2. Da Bears & Bengals

3. Browns, pleased. No-one would ever have thought we'd be 3-3 at our bye week, given our early schedule (in-conference). I believe our offense is ranked in the top 5, if the defense would just show up we might make it interesting this year.

I know you guys are ahead by a day with the time zones, but geez, you're on NFL 08 already?! Wow :-P

1. Cleveland Browns. Not much to say here... they should really suck and they're .500

2. STL Rams. They looked like a playoff team... in August

3. Giants will probably have a mirror image of their first half (see 06 season) and finish 8-8 or 9-7 which will probably be good enough for the WC.

1. Good God the Packers. Who knew?

2. The Bears. Blech.

3. The Steelers. Will lose in the AFC Title Game. Unfortunately.

Giants, Packers

Miami, SF - not supposed to set the league on fire but this?

Eagles, Ravens, Rams as well.

Cowboys are still looking good, so my Giants can get to 10 wins but will have to settle for a wildcard assuming:

- Defense holds up. Thank goodness they are letting loose with blitzes and a strong pass rush in general. D-Coordinator is doing miracles. Still vulnerable at LB.

- Oline holds up. Diehl has been playing better than hoped for and O'Hara is damn impressive.

so i am assuming that everyone thought that the glorious skins would be 4 and 2 and looking good, as no one has mentioned them as overachievers. i thought i was the only one.

surprised someone thought that the giants overachieving. not a fan of them but i think that for something like five straight years under the same coach, they have been 5 and 2 at this stage (i suppose that there is no other stage you can be 5 and 2, is there). which they are again. mind you, they do have a whiff of the waratahs late season black hole about them.

1. The surprise packet overachievers.

Titans - 5 points from being 6-0

Packers - Go Brett, really shouldn't be suprised he's made miracles before

Foreskins - Thats for you ken, but really they were on my list before I got to your post

2. The Dismal underachievers.

Bengals - Who Dey??????????

Chargers - Still can get back in it in a horrible division

Saints - Back where they belong, last year was a fluke, long live the AINT'S

3. Prognosis for your team and why.

STEELERS(duh)

Judgement is still out,

Offense can get it on but the line is VERY questionable, if Ben wasn't such a BADASS he would have been sacked 30 times already. Willie Parker & Nadje (pooper) Davenport are pretty damn good 1-2 punch. Recieving corp outstanding when healthy. Get back to running the ball more!

Defense needs to tighten up and stop giving up the big play. Look great on 1st & 2nd down but can not continue to give up 3rd and long.

Coach Tomlin needs an identity he can stick with and needs to learn when to use his challenges.

With some fine tuning The Steelers are capable of being SB condenders, but there is some serious competition in the AFC.

HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!
