TR Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 thank you FOH....the best place on the web...not to mention, my wife has no idea what czar travel is... lol
jay8354 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Definitely hands off for Rob and Lisa. When I first got into Cigars from a buddy of mine. Had no idea what I getting into. Found Cigar Czar when trying to locate a Cigar Online Store (due to the fact that in my State: NSW / City: Sydney, the local gov charge an arm and leg on lux taxes). Put in a small order and had a interstate phone call to the mobile from Rob. Rob gave me advise on what I had ordered and recommended. Customer Service No. 1. Of Course, Great smokes afterwards
strayvector Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Just a quick story as to how "Above and Beyond" the Czar really is. I recently ordered a batch of singles that was substantial in value. During the shipping, the package hit a little snag. FedEx reported that it had reached my city but was held because of regulatory reasons. When I saw this, I became a little concerned, not because of the value since I knew that the Czar guarantees all his shipments, but rather that I would not receive it in time for my anniversary. I shot prez a little e-mail and got an immediate response from him not to worry. Then on the day that the cigar was delivered, he personally called to make sure the package was safe and sound. Unfortunately, I wasn't home so only got the message, but WOW...thanks for the personal touch Prez.
Elric Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Its simple: If you treat people like you would want to be treated your business will be a success. If you treat people like crap you won't get any repeats. If you are a truly nice person who actually cares about the people you do business with your name is Lisa, or Rob. In truth I've never seen so many caring folks (and conversely weasels) in any other business as compared to cigars.

GoatLocker Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Lisa is also the first online tobacconist that actually recommended aginst a cigar, pretty much saying they suck. lol That is first class if you ask me. Most retailers will tell you what you WANT to hear, "everything is great, best quality!"
El Presidente Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Thanks for the Kudos.......now I know how far we have to fall Our hearts are good.....specifically Lisa and Smithy. Lise loves you guys and was furious last week when she discovered 6 errors made during her week away. She busted my balls big time and didn't speak to me without scowling until Thursday I felt like I was back year 7 Junior school after being busted for selling Rum shots in the playground (we use to let those water based iceblocks melt and then add the rum). I was getting 10 cents a shot but a leak developed in my "Gingerale" bottle and a teacher caught a whiff......game over. Dad was catching on as well but he was blaming GrandDad who was living with us at the time. I digress. All saints are flawed but don't worry...we have a saying "###K up, Fess Up , Fix Up" :-D
56Tweed Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I've lurked for some time now, but now I see that it really does pay to be a member! Mike
thschrminm Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Rob and Lisa.... You are definitely at the forefront of promotion and customer care when it comes to the world of Habanos sales... That attention to the customer has payed off with me when I think about ordering...
smk819 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Rob and Lisa feel so much like friends that I regret Brisbane is such a long walk. I am saving Frequent Flyer miles for a visit.
Maverick Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 » Not trying to brown-nose here....just want to thank El Prez and Lisa for » going above and beyond the call of duty! » » 1. Monthly tastings » 2. Box of CoRo prize in the fat bastid comp. » 3. Prize cigars in the tipping comp » 4. Posting the aged cigar list » 5. Weekly specials and the free shipping in Sept! » » Plus getting all the inside info on upcoming EL's and special releases! » All of this on top of answering e-mail and sending out some fantastic » cigars. » » Thanks for making each of us here not just a customer...but a Friend of » Habanos! » » No I was not paid to post this message :-P I am just amazed by the level of service. I am totally impressed with the fact that every message I send through gets a reply within 24hours. They go behond the call of duty. I recently got back from OS and was impressed by the fact that every cigar shop I walked into had none of the atmosphere of Rob's Humidor. When you walk in to Rob's place you get personal service, recommendations and friendly chat. Overseas I got none of that. also the prices of Robs place are incredably competitive. So keep up the good work guys. Ross...
Loki Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 The service is outstanding. I just received my blind tasting, letting it rest a couple of days can't wait to try it. A thank you is almost not enough.:-)
