» No smoke for the wife. She does not like them and that is fine with me. My

» habit is costly enough with out adding her. She occasionally remarks about

» the amout and the cost but I bought her a Cadillac and a dog and she has

» become pleasantly quiet.

Congrats on the upcoming anniversary Stray!! I have a 10 year anniversary coming up in October...

Ditto on the expense!! My wife does not complain about me enjoying my smokes in my favorite leather chair in our family room, but she has zero interest in smoking with me. She'll often sit and talk with me or watch a show while I smoke.

She did take a huge liking to the HC mojito I introduced her to though. Wish HC was easier to get in my neck o' tha woods!!!

great post!

on occasions, my wife will smoke one of those flavored cigarillos in the backyard while we are chillin in the backyard. she says she's not interested in the cigars even though i have offered.

slightly off topic, but its always an interesting sociological poll:

are women smoking cigars:

a) sexy

B) not sexy?

its always the 33/33/33 split.

very similar to "how do ya like (fill in any cigar here)?"

a) great, better than i anticipated

B) sucks, way overrated

It all depends...

An Ugly woman smoking a cigar = Not sexy;

A supermodel in lingerie smoking a cigar = SEXY;

An average looking woman smoking a cigar = Not sexy;

An average looking woman, naked, smoking a cigar = Sexy

Damn...another mistake. So last Thursday as I was shopping around the Heathrow duty free shops on my way back to the US, I decided to pick up a little present for myself and grabbed a bottle of Havana Club Barrelproof rum. Salesman, explained that it was aged 10-12 years vs. the 7-10 for the 7 year old, so I thought what the hey... I like the 7 year old, so lets splurge and give it a try. Got home that night and found the package from Lisa nicely wrapped and waiting to be laid to rest in the humi (btw, thanks for the call to check on the shipment, Prez). Having not seen the wife for 4 weeks, I used some self control and left the package alone.

So on Friday night, our anniversary, with the kids in bed, I took out a couple of Trinidad Robusto Extras and poured a couple of glasses of the HC Barrelproof to celebrate the occasion. Needless to say, the smoke and the alcohol were outstanding. Missus also enjoyed both. So my mistake is leaving on Monday to get back to work. It'll be three weeks before I'm home again, and judging by the way the wife enjoyed the drink, it'll be gone by the time I get back (not to mention a few more Trini's meeting their end). Oh well, 10 years and me in Sweden with blonde goddesses everywhere, I guess she's allowed.

Lady Piggy will not smoke her own usually… that is unless she wants to ‘one-up’ another woman for whatever the reason. She does however like to hit off mine typically (not allowed until she removes the lipstick… yuck!) She will mooch my friends cigars as well. She is a cigar ****!!! Not in the fashion of Monica Lewinsky (sp) mind you.

As a result she likes me to have cigars and will often encourage my purchases. Just the other day she said. “I have not seen you order cigars in a while. Why don’t you get yourself some?” And then she says, “are you going to the market… I need some wine?”

» I'm kinda selfish with this hobby........I want to keep it that way....;-)

I acquired some flavored havana honeys and she smokes one once in a while to share the smokeing experience with me, although she normaly smokes cigarettes. But I dont want her to get any Ideas about getting into any of my Humis and not knowing what she is lighting up...I have a lot of expensive Sticks Both Domestic and Cuban and would Be Upset to say the least, if she Helped herself. Fortunatly she Is aware that I have many that are off limits and doesent violate my Collection....

It would be sad if you see someone else get into your stash

but sadder still to see someone else smoke your expensive cigars.

like the Party Anniversario Dinner Cigars, the Haute Brions and Cabinettas:-D

My g/f is one of those that despises my passion for the leaf. Although she is becoming more acceptable of it. She will actually sit outside with me on the patio if I'm smokin somethink that doesn't stink too bad. Come to think of it she did say she kinda liked the smell from my La Aroma de Cuba. Oh no this may be the beginning of the end.

My wife doesnt smoke, has never put one even close to her mouth. She doesnt mind me smoking, just so long as I remove the smell before coming near her. I dont have a patio, so it is just the backyard lawn for me.
