Factory codes

» Why is it so important to know what factory it was from?

Francisco Pérez Germán (Partagás)

José Martí (H. Upmann)

Briones Montoto (Romeo y Julieta)

El Laguito (Cohiba)

Miguel Fernandez Roig (La Corona)

Those factories usually put out the best quality cigars. But quality has been good across the board recently; including provincial factories. Now if they'd just fix the underfill problem that is appearing.

May'be it's just me, but I'd just like to know what factory they came from. :ok:

Give this one to Ken when he get's back next week. His deep throat within the hallowed halls of Habanos s.a may be able to provide an answer.

Majority of two's come from Partagas and R&J factories.

There is little use in having an up to date list of factory codes as it changes up to 6 times a year as far as I have been told.

LOL, call the psychic friends network. The only way to be sure is to buy a vitola that is only produced in 1 factory. That will give you the present code or that factory. Unfortunately I do believe that every stick is made in at least 2 factories including the fundadore. Please correct me if I'm off here.
