trumpetchris Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 » How are these smoking now? Had one about three weeks ago. It was good, but I think mine are sitting for another 6 to 8 months before I try again. (Only have a five pack)
Mr.T Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I've had two out of my box. The first one I had a while back had a musty, leathery and earthy flavor to it. It was a little too fresh and raw (does that make any sense). The second one I had showed remarkable improvement and was much smoother, more refined and complex. Exemplary construction, great draw and burn. I don't have any tasting notes on it unfortunately. I am going to wait another year or so before trying another one. I think these cigars require a lot of time to settle, but they have the strength for the long-haul.
habanohal Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Still waiting for some flavor. Musty is right, dark, muted flavors that just wont poke through. I wont touchem for quite a whil.....and if you know me, I dont really age alot to smoke. But these are exceptions
kmax Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 » How are these smoking now? I just pulled the trigger on a box. Quite pricey now, close to 5 bills US. I will do a review 30 days after I receive them.
