Well,I finished the university term and now am in Costa Rica. I will send a photo or two once I get back. Sent a message to Habanos rep in San Jose, biut nothing in return. I guess that I will go directly to address with my father in law who can keep prices in line.

Thanks to all for advice on keeping humidor at 60 . That works well.

Have fun finding the place, the few taxi cabs I asked were clueless.

It's about two blocks from that Planet Mall or whatever it's called (biggest mall in San Jose). Up the hill east of the huge rotary/fountains and down a small back street. Make sure you talk to the owner while you're there (or, at the very least, his son). His English isn't great, however.

Also, don't forget to go back later at night and have dinner at the italian restaurant. Last time I was there (Jan 06) they made gnocchi from scratch for us. I had an excellent conversation with the owner even with my poor Spanish and his limited English. He has a lot of those special release humidors in the back walk in, so see if he'll let you check those out. He also had some custom rolls, but I cannot remember who they were from.

Here's what that big mall looks like (Mall San Pedro). The LCDH is about two blocks to the right of that overpass.

Thanks.Found it with my father in law´s help. They had a nice selection of premium brands, but the prices were higher than I expected. My father in law bought me a box on Montecristo 2 from his distributor friend. He was a jewler in San JOse for the past 50 years and knows everyone.

Went to Tamarindo and Langosta where I smoked about five during our stay at the beach. Fantastic smokes!

Creamy, leathery, coffee, chocolate, spice ,and nuts all in one long smoke.
