Ken Gargett Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 my vote goes to telstra. can't see any mob that comes within cooee of these imbeciles. i could fill pages on how appalling they are. hard to beat the moron that told me i had a certain type of account with them. i told her i knew this. well don't tell us, we'll only get confused. but a possible contender was when i rang the help line, i was asked if i had a phone. i have dozens of these stories. these idiots are a national disgrace. any other possible contenders?
JMH Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 » my vote goes to telstra. Mine too. About a month ago our internet went out for a little while. Telstra being out provider, I was used small blackouts in service, so I didn't think much of it. At the end of the second day I decided to call them. Long story (including being stuck on hold for an eternity) short, they had decided to change a small detail in the login process (which happens automatically when you turn your computer on) and had neglected to tell anyone else. Great work guys, keep it up.
Claudius Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 » i rang the help line, i was asked if i had a phone. LMAO!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Ken Gargett Posted July 20, 2007 Author Posted July 20, 2007 it nevr stops. another four hours this morning with these imbeciles before they discover it might be a regional problem. time well spent, fellas. so when the regional problem is fixed, i get a call on the mobil. why has the home number been disconnected? whoops. seems telstra cocked that up as well. so while they ar fixing that, my computer goes down with a non-regional problem. these morons could no run a bath.

I swear they are doing this on purpose Ken About a month or so ago I got a call from Rafi from Bombay on behalf of Telstra. He was just checking on my experiences with Telstra and went on and on and on and on and finally said " What beit thaaat I cud posiiiibly do to mak yur expeeeerinse betta?" I told him that I was very happy overall but found that the curries on the night were tailored to western tastes and should be a little more authentic. "No No No No No Mr Alala...tis eee nut a Restront....tis eees Tstra" Mate...not a problem...I promise to be back...just throw in some complimentary papadums or something. End of Call. Love to see them play that back for "staff training" purposes.
Ken Gargett Posted July 20, 2007 Author Posted July 20, 2007 a string between two tins is beyond these imbeciles.
diab0lik Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I'm gonna have to say telstra sucks too... but then again optus isn't much better too bad australia pretty much only has those 2 choices for telcos...

Freefallguy Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Ken- word on the 'net is you're the target of a laundry jihad!
El Presidente Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 So if I am correct Ken. You didn't pay a telephone Bill You were away at the time the bill was sent and the bill went missing. OPTUS cut your telephone access for non payment of bill. The bastards agreed to re-connect you....if you paid your bill...but you refused (still unclear as to why). You didn't pay the Bill. The bastards sent it to a collection agency. They chased you for 5 years...... You wanted to sue them if the they had the audacity to try and collect the money....... which you never paid. Bad Optus....Bad I would also like to reiterate that Iran's problems with the west appear to have started with your visit there ;-)
Ken Gargett Posted July 24, 2007 Author Posted July 24, 2007 so now i am responsible for the conflict in the middle east. is there any day where you are not pissed by lunch? i may be visiting friday arvo. fire up that big boy you promised!!
