Well Armed
Enjoying some new Aussie wine right now. Random purchase. Very good wine. Somewhat - or quite - young and very powerful Almost syrupy and thick and strong tannins. Very complex. Intriguing.
skid11
Good choice, I've tried the Glaetzer Amon - Ra and it was terrific, very powerful, elegant and complex. This Barossa Valley vineyard do it well. Colin Glaetzer has been around since the 70's and would have a wealth of information under his belt, which he has passed on to his son Ben. Parker has made some very positive comments about this young winemaker and the wine speaks for itself. I'm enjoying a Penfolds Bin 389 (2003) at the moment, kicking back and reading the posts.
