El Presidente
None in the Asia Pacific and none in Havana. In the too hard basket it appears. No RASS or Bit's of Havana either. Communist efficiency at it's finest;-)

No RASS or Bit's of Havana either. » » Communist efficiency at it's finest;-) I was wondering about the Culebras as well… I have one left in the sweetie box, as Rum calls it…. And though it’s no LE, it’s beginning to feel like one! I remember reading that Habanos passes these along to the workers… I suppose the comrades must enjoy a fine smoke now and again, but how hard is it to twist a panetela!?! Please, do let us know when they’re in shop!

thschrminm
The flavor on these is OK... What I like is seeing the ash burn in a spiral motion... That's my favorite part of smoking the culebras...
Spud2
Never had'em, got to try'em. Is there a waiting list started? I don't think the first shipment will last long ,based on simular threads on several boards. :-(
harwellplant
i can do without the culebras, but the shortage of rass is a travesty.
Freefallguy
the Culebras...are they really » that good?? It’s not a stick (or should I say spiral) that you’d want stuck in your puss at a wedding… you’d look like you’d swallowed a pig head first… But… they’re a good Habanos, at a decent cost, for ridin’ the mower or fishing or huntin’… you get the idea. naga5
concur with the previous opinions-it is a tasty decent smoke. they are fun to smoke on sidewalks in hermosa beach on summer holidays. great conversation starter among the bike riders, roller bladers, volleyballers and drunks. rick
Curmudgeon
Would anyone really want these things if they were easily available?
El Presidente
Believe it or not they were a top seller. My belief is it will not see the light of day into the future. It must be a pain in the ass to manufacture and profitability on it would be poor due to the amount of handling (hand finished) and packaging + a low price point. I bet that it will continue but in a fully hand made form where they can raise the price to make it worthwhile.
GoatLocker
» I bet that it will continue but in a fully hand made form where they can » raise the price to make it worthwhile. I could live with that, as long as they don't price them like the Davidoff Culebras. :-(
HawaiiBill
Oh man! Sorry to hear that! I have been wanting to try one for sometime, but never actually placed the order. I guess I just always assumed they would always be available.
