Foodsavers vacum sealer

I know that this topic has been covered before but I am looking for suggestions on a model. I obviously want the instant seal feature to avoid crushing. Also, do I get the 11 inch bags (expensive) or do I get rolls?

from my experience, they all have crush capability. it all depends on what you are sealing. to completely remove any crush possibilites, just make sure you are using a container that can stand it. i reccomend a dry run first using rolls. if you do a dry run, make sure to make the bag larger than what you need so when you cut it, you will have enough to reseal. that will keep you from wasting the bag

as for bags or rolls. the rolls are fine. seal the end of the roll first, then measure your desired bag size, cut, fill, and seal the other end.
