Ken Gargett Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 found an old copy - a first edition from 1924, no less (checked it out, worth about a whole $40) - of zane grey's 'tales of southern rivers' in among my father's books. looks like an interesting read. i know he was a favourite of dad's. anyone read any? the photos of some of the fish look fantastic. different world today.
Matthew Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I used to love reading his Westerns. Very straight-forward, good guys versus bad guys, but written beautifully. I must have read 30 or 40 of his books.
