Mel
Now many of you out there know that I am not a fan of the Punch Churchill. I have had bad luck with tight ones and they tend to be a little weak on flavor for me. I ussually prefer an Upmann or Boilivar if I am smoking a Churchill but My buddy Aaron, the one from the turkey pictures, gave me a hell of a cigar. He gave me and Fred a tubed Punch Monarca and said try this. It was a few days before I got aroung to it sort of putting it off really. I lit it up the other night and it was more than fantastic. This was no Weak-Ass-Punch! The draw was perfect and the profile very full bodied. Balanced and all that **** the big time reviewers talk about. I nubbed it then at the end happened to look it up in the Min Ron NEE book. Holy crap they have not been made since 1980???? Some guys just know how to give the best gifts. Hey Simmich send me the rest of the lot they are to strong for you, Grandpa.:-P
Colt45
Thanks for the review. In reference to Ken's recent Punch band thread, what type of band did this cigar have?
