jgros001 Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 For example, your latest comment on the Cuaba Salamones: "My major complaint on the Salomones is boredom." Yet this is a hot pick? Description in the Hot Picks: "Masterpiece. Only entrusted to the best rollers in Cuba. Rick cuban tobacco flavour...dense and rich. A Must Have!" Now, I know you want to sell cigars but how could a cigar that you complain of boredom be a hot pick? Well boredom is better than Ken's comments on Cuaba: "is there any house that is as consistently, utterly, as disappointing and underachieving as cuaba. trash. it is the sauv blanc of cigars. quite enjoyed the diadema but all the rest have been, not bog average, just bog. and the diadema wasn't good enough to redeem them."

I thought there was gonna be a redesign of the Czar site??
jgros001 Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 Missed this gem: "The Cuaba Salomones is the tin man of the Cuban cigar world. It is heartless with no passion, no soul and no future in my humidor. I am a hard marker with this cigar because it sets out to portray itself as cigar royalty...as something special...but all it is is a charade which delivers dissilusionment and depression."
jgros001 Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 » Launching new web site Friday ;-) Awesome...can't wait
genevapics Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 » Launching new web site Friday ;-) Great news. Will you also be offering a redesign of the Message Board at some point in time?

The Professor Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 » Launching new web site Friday ;-) wow.... I'm excited to see what changes await. :-)
El Rushbo Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 RE: Message Board Layout/Design I can't think of a message board format online that I like as much, nor can I think of one that is as easy to navigate. Hope not much changes on the message board.... As far as the hot picks...somebody did snooker me into a Cuaba Salomone in my first order a few years back...
Trevor2118 Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 » RE: Message Board Layout/Design I'm with you. I think this is the best arrangement I have seen across the www (and I spend a lot of time looking for information for my web site). My vote: NO CHANGE!
Colt45 Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Yeah, good luck trying to book the 2006 Cuba tour as well. For what it's worth, I also like the current forum format.

I vote no change for the message board format the current format is simple yet refined... I hate the graphic/colour/flourish overload often found elsewhere - none of that here.
GoSteelers Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 All threads are one page only, I really like that, especially if you arent on high-speed.
zuma Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 » Launching new web site Friday ;-) damn... i missed the launch!? or was it a private affair?
Cohiba007 Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Is it just me or does the new site look a lot like the old site?:-D
