Ken Gargett Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 is there any house that is as consistently, utterly, as disappointing and underachieving as cuaba. trash. it is the sauv blanc of cigars. quite enjoyed the diadema but all the rest have been, not bog average, just bog. and the diadema wasn't good enough to redeem them.
asmith Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Excellent review Rob now what the hell are we going to do with this weeks special on Cuaba. I did notice that one of the homeless people on our street picked up the remainder of the cigar and puffed away quite happily.
El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Here is a cigar which hasn't tickled my fancy in the past. To me the best Cuaba has always been the smaller Divino but production and availability is sporadic. The Divino has always been consistent and fuller bodied. So in its absence I decided to try this morning its bigger brother the Generosos. Good looking cigar. Slightly herbal smell at cold. Good construction. Clipped the well made cap to find a firmish but workable draw. Wet grass and minerals/chemicals on the lips from the pre-light draw. Fired up the foot and it came to life immediately. Bitter, grassy, wet grass, paint thinner. Disturbing. Into the bulb...getting worse. Amonia, astringent, putrid. Life is too short for this crap. 50/100 for construction
Cam Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » » » » 50/100 for construction you're a brave man trying it rob, ill give you 100/100 for taking it upon yourself to give us a review on possibly one of the worst Cuabas eever made :-D love the last pic! Cam -
