eriksson20 Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 SO, this is just to collect a list ( like a poll ) not to get all cocky and smokin every brand you list... peace out and let it be said, that as a newbie from Finland, this is a great forum for cigar conversation! thank you for that!
Mel Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Hello mate there is such a cigar. It must have: 1 great brand recognition 2 be large enough to be considered a real cigar, not a cigarillo 3 not to large for the novice or average smoker to handle 4 always look good and represent class This cigar is the Cohiba Robusto
jqmunro Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 For starters try some of these: HdM Epicure #1, Cohiba Siglo IV, Montecristo Edmuno/Petit Edmundo, Partagas Serie D 4, Por Larranaga Petit Corona
eriksson20 Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 thanks for your replies, these sound great... waiting this list to grow still... atleast 100 replies c'mon!!! peace out

I know it is not an easy question and the answer mat be different another day but go for it.
Cam Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 thats a difficult question, id say the Cohibe pyramides EL or the monte C EL

stever Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Damn the torpedos! Try: Upmann #2 (aged or certain '06s); Partagas SP2 ('06); Monte #2
Professor Twain Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Montecristo Especial #1 exemplifies the best in Cuban Cigars.
Ken Gargett Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 » thats a difficult question, id say the Cohibe pyramides EL or the monte C » EL i know we have covered this before but i cannot see how anyone can compare the glorious cohiba pyramide with those toxic weeds called monte C's. this is not like when those well meaning but misguided souls from down south had the audacity to compare ella with lynagh or mclean, it is more like comparing lloyd walker (perhaps the most aptly named of all rugby players) to the great tim horan. and i am aware that this may not hold much resonance in finland.
Ken Gargett Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 i would add that if the SLR DC is not quite within category then i would have to go cohiba siglo vi, though like the nominations for both monte edmundo and plpc.
El Presidente Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 From the heart. 1. Partagas Serie De Connoisseur No 3 2. SLR DC 3. Cohiba Robusto
chef2275 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 my plan was to start with petite's and go up the size chart..out of petites and robustos which i have smoked the most so far, i would have to say...bolivar petite or monte #4.(have not had the plpc, hopefully one day i will get the chance). Cohiba robusto was not bad neither.lol. sorry, its tough to narrow down to just one. chef
smokum Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 » From the heart. » » 1. Partagas Serie De Connoisseur No 3 » 2. SLR DC » 3. Cohiba Robusto For me.... 1. Partagas Serie De Connoisseur No 3 2. Cohiba Coronas Especiale 3. Sancho Panza Molino
eriksson20 Posted April 27, 2007 Author Posted April 27, 2007 hello there Ken, you'll find some resonance in me with those remarks (not an expert but some although little knowledge). My intetion here however is not creating gaps between people or agitate anyone. I know this THE ONE thing is an impossible one... anyway No matter if you preferred smoking dried donkey droppings wrapped in a tobacco leaf, if that is what you consider the best cigar, then i'd like you to name that here. :-D this is a matter of taste after all. peace to you all.... » » thats a difficult question, id say the Cohibe pyramides EL or the monte » C » » EL » » » i know we have covered this before but i cannot see how anyone can compare » the glorious cohiba pyramide with those toxic weeds called monte C's. this » is not like when those well meaning but misguided souls from down south » had the audacity to compare ella with lynagh or mclean, it is more like » comparing lloyd walker (perhaps the most aptly named of all rugby players) » to the great tim horan. » and i am aware that this may not hold much resonance in finland.
