JMH Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 You chose wisely. They are clearly the ones most desperately in need of help.
Colt45 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Yes...... The road to sobriety is fraught with peril. These two will need a ride.

Tom Bolivar Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 » rob--do you think these poor lads are even ready to admit they HAVE a » problem? As a matter of fact the individum in the second pictures clearly is claiming that he only had one drink so far. Sad but a true fact of life. We should not turn our heads. Let's reach out and offer them our helping hand. Rob, I can provide you with a numbered Swiss banc account for collecting the money.

Colt45 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 » Get it out of your systems now guys, you will be all lost once I'm gone. Sorry Andrew, I posted this prior to your going away announcement. I truly hope you find what you're looking for, on that tropical island, with your partner.
El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 We are big believers in giving back to the community. Over the past 12 months we have assessed various worthy causes including child poverty, the establishment of business grants for micro enterprises in Cuba, Tsunami victims in the Solomans or the Cohiba Chesapeake Bay Retriever fund for three legged dogs (long story....my dog....big 4X4 reversing....wife driving....another thread). However, we have come to the conclusion that charity should begin at home and we need to look no further than some of our own members who are battling the demon bottle. It is a travesty how some of them live their lives and I know that alcohol and dress sense are daily battles that they are clearly losing. More details to follow but if you are left in any doubt of the real need in our FOH community look no further.......... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
