First let me thank Smitty for picking this cab.

Just tried the first one. Holy Moley how spicy, earthy and creamy.

Not affected one bit by the bourbon I am using medicinally to ease into the weekend here in the 70s weather we are having in our nation's capital with rain on the way.

Windows open, funk and classic r&b on the digital music channels.

More spicey on the first third than I expected frankly. Damn nice as it alternated between spiciness and creaminess. Never straying from an underlying earthy flavor.

The newest year Lusi i've smoked & rather disappointing. Mild & under filler. A DC shoulfd last longer than an hour.

I recently got a dress box of Feb 04 Lusis and I was mighty disappointed in the first two I smoked. They were both plugged and significant tunelling issues. A friend with whom I shared the box suggested I dry box them for a while, which I'm doing now. I'll sit on them for another month or so, try them again, and if problems persist, contact the vendor. This isn't a cheap cigar and I considered myself lucky to find a box that wasn't rolled yesterday. Unfortunately, they turned out to be short on quality.
