cf2112
This is my only complaint about this site. I hope we can fix it so you don't have to go to the bottom of the page and put a bar at the end of each post.
Phailure
Weird. My text wraps around for both IE and firefox. If there are wide objects in the page such as a long link or a wide picture, the text will not wrap for obvious reasons. The only problem I have with the website is starting yesterday, firefox won't properly display the header of the website. Gives errors for some reason but IE works fine. Anyone else use firefox and have this problem? edit: After looking at a few threads, I've noticed that if the title of the thread is long, then those people running low resolutions may run into text wrapping problems. dysfunctional
» »those people running low resolutions may run into text wrapping problems. » » Spot on. The site is designed for the 95% of users running 800x600 screen » resolution and above. 800x600 is the minimum spec - we recommend running » 1024x768 or above. This should prevent the dreaded horizontal » scrollbar! » » About 65% of our users are 1024x768 so while we endeavour to support our » resolution-challenged brethren, the truth of it is we can't please » everyone all of the time. The scrollbar should only appear in threads with » long titles or threads containing large images. » » You can attempt to increase your screen resolution by right-clicking on » the Windows Desktop > Select Properties from the bottom of the popup menu » > Select Settings and drag the Screen Resolution bar to the right. » » While it's not a hard thing to change your screen resolution, you do so at » your own risk. Some very old monitors (and anal-retentive IT departments) » may not support greater than 800x600 screen resolutions. If the screen » goes black, don't touch anything for about 15 seconds and the monitor » should return to it's previous setting. » » Phailure, the error you were seeing with the header yesterday was the » result of a server security update. It managed to knock all PHP-based » websites including FOH and Cigar Czar offline for about 8 hours. Can't » tell you how pleased i was to see that happen! ;-) Well what do you know..it WORKS !!! Thanks...tought I was the only one having such problems....
