Colt45
A blend of malbec, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and syrah. I've gone through quite a few bottles. I really enjoy it - the malbec bite, some roundness from the merlot without making it flabby, some depth and vanilla from the cabernet, and the syrah gives a hint of a good southern rhone. If I remeber correctly, the manager also produces wines in Chile. A well done combination, and at around $14 US on average, a good value.
Ziggy
I'd be interested in trying this. Where can I find a bottle? Zig

I don't think it's very "exotic". I'd think any store with a good international selection might have it.
bassman
Those Argentines are smart! They don't export the best malbecs. I'll be back there in November & will have to hall some back. Better pack them very well since wine is no longer allowed on carry on luggage.:crying:
