Help with humidor! / Spanish Cedar

Hello all, I need some help!

I have been fixing up an old wardrobe to convert into a humidor.

I recently found on the web a site in the USA that supplies small air-conditioning units for cabinet humidors. I lost the link and for the life of me can't find anyone who can get me one.

I don't think the units are designed to create a fridge like environment, instead they pump just a light breeze when needed if the temp gets to much.

SPANISH CEDAR: For a long time I had been hunting down this stuff and have now got some. If you are need of some please contact me. I also heard that there maybe an international ban on the logging of Spanish Cedar so get some while you have the chance!

I think there is a moratorium on spanish cedar logging.

When building my humidor, I spoke to two different suppliers of thermo-electric coolers...neither would sell me a unit for my application. They had evidently had too many come back and people griping about the loss of humidity. No matter how you do it, the cooling will drop the humidity, so they were not willing to put their neck out, so to speak. I'm not saying that there are not some that will sell the units, I just had no luck with it. As for spanish cedar, try Internet Lumber. That is where I got mine.
