last minute help with sydney hotel

well, i had been talking to a lady via email at the stamford plaza double bay and had all but taken care of the band's rooms for sunday and monday night. on monday i emailed the lady that had been helping me and as of today had not heard back from her.

so i just called the hotel and apparently this week they booked up, so i'm up a creek at the moment. i have to fly out in about 36 hours and i have to find a hotel ASAP. can any of you sydney mates point me in the direction of another good hotel not too far from the airport. the CBD looks like a great are to stay in so if you know of one there that would be great.

i have to leave for a few hours, but when i get home i will be calling hotels over there until something is firm. any help is appreciated.

also, i'm up for a few smokes on monday night if anyone wants to get together close to where i stay in sydney.

Usually they will give you a price about 10% cheaper than quoted on the site.

FINALLY! I got a hotel booked.

i'll be staying at VIBE in rushcutters bay (www.vibehotels.com) this sunday and monday night, so if anyone wants to grab a smoke monday night then post here by tomorrow or saturday morning and we'll figure something out.

worse case call the hotel monday around lunch and ask for my room- bruce alford. we can then figure something out for that evening.
