Recently, while leafing through a cigar / lifestyle magazine, I couldn't help but be

amazed at the number of new cigar brands, and the number of new lines within

existing brands(NC).

I readily admit that quality of construction of a vast number of NCs is very good,

but I just can't imagine how producers keep track of all the different blends,

wrappers, etc - or how the consumer is expected to.

I suppose that since I've found the path to enlightenment, I've lost track, somewhat,

of what's going on in the world of NCs.

P.S. this is not a criticism of NCs, merely a personal observation.

Ross, one year come with me to the RTDA and you will be blown away with the new NC releases and line extensions. I think that it is a positive influence as there is much less crap released than in previous years with some genuine surprises. There has been a rationalisation however in "contract rolling". Many new releases under different labels have tobacco sourced and rolled by families such as Torano.
