Why is it then they are discontinuing this particular cigar? If something is that good why stop it. If it aint broke why fix it.

The million dollar question that has one answer: money. It must not sell. Not the first or last great cigar discontinued...Partagas Corona, RAC, RA898, PL Lonsdale, the list goes on.

I had an '03 the other day that was fantastic. I bought a fiver after seeing these will be discontinued to see if I liked them enough to stock up. Needless to say I will be buying at least a box.

I take that back. These suck. Don't buy them. :-P

The late '03 Partagas de Partagas is a superb example of the fact that you just can't pigeon-hole a cuban cigar. This cigar has a reputation as an in-your-face, rustic and strong smoke. Not this baby. Not in the least. Mine are as smooth and subtle as they come, with loads of twang, sweet wood and delicate spices. I wouldn't call them sophisticated and complex, but they are surely a connoisseur's smoke.

Here, several hours after burning one of those suckers on a sunny afternoon, I can still taste the sweet wood, and my mouth waters with tangy citrus. Now that's a great cigar! A great buy, too.
