Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 and also bizarre is that the photo is in perfect focus on my system?
mr.harten Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Both the Party Shorts and Bolivar CM I got recently have had this amount of discrepancy. Taste just fine but I too was a bit stunned by the difference in ring gauge.
habanohal Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Got some Monte #3s,Party Shorts,Ryj CAzadores, punch Coronas that I have seen so far
Colt45 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I've a box of RASS that are the same way. Though this has been discussed before, you do bring up a valid point. I thought during sorting that like color, size, etc would be boxed together. Perhaps this does not apply to girth?

gyosa Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 i also have a box of RASS ( POS MAR 06 ) that are the same way .... a few actually are the ring gauge of a petit corona ..... i assumed they just got more "smashed" as a result of being crammed into the box ..... -bk » I've a box of RASS that are the same way. Colt45 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 » they are usually meticulous - at least whenever i have watched them. Well Dr. K, what do you think? Could it possibly be that once like sizes / colors are boxed together, they simply box together whatever remains? Maybe your bestest bud gave you one of these boxes of remnants? As an aside, now that you're smoking the twiggies, you may need help clearing out some of your bigger sizes - say the SLR DC for instance? I'm at your service.

Funny, the ones I have that are out of kilter are almost all on the fat side - some are easily 52, and perhaps a bit larger!

Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 » Look like fakes to me............. just as well it was a fake credit card.
Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 » Found some of the same in inconsistncies with a SigVI tubo comparison. » Notice the difference in shade and ring gauge. » » I figure there may be a difference in shade, but the ring gauge difference » has me wondering if the riffraff's don't end up in solitare. ??? wouldn't be surprised. the LE's have always been very dark.
JMH Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Congrats ken on conquering your technical fears and learning how to post a few photos. I've had a few recent boli rc's that varied quite a bit in both ring gauge and length.
El Presidente Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Those that do not meet the colour grading of a wheel often make their way to the world of Tubos ;-)

El Presidente Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Nice to see you edited out the guide who cast the rod.
Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 » Nice to see you edited out the guide who cast the rod. could you be more bitter and twisted or do i have to tell bonefishing tales? we could compare photos - or perhaps not, you'd need some.
Professor Twain Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 » Those that do not meet the colour grading of a wheel often make their way » to the world of Tubos ;-) Hmmmm, As a tubo lover, I have never thought to compare them, they generally get opened one at a time. Maybe ignorance is bliss. I learn something every time I visit this site, though.

I need nothing more than the sun on my back, a fine cigar and the challenge of piscatorial battle. What can an edited photo add which is not already burned deep into my subconscious.
El Presidente Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 To this day I believe that the Bonefish you are holding was struck dumb by the board shorts you were wearing.
