tigger Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 "What this country needs is a good five-cent cigar.” The day of the cheap but good-quality cigar was already passing when Woodrow Wilson’s vice-president Thomas Marshall made this off-hand remark in 1917. Yet 90 miles off the coast of Florida, the cheap cigar still exists and, at one Cuban peso each, they actually cost less than five cents. But are they any good?" El Presidente Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Great article Tigger I have had plenty of "Peso" cigars and farmer rolled farm cigars and the latter are far bettter than their Peso cousins. Sometimes you don't want to walk around Havana with a months wages Cohiba dangling from your mouth. This is the time for a farm rolled or Peso cigar :-)
