El Presidente Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 A dozen or so of the local FOH crew came over on Friday afternoon to work the rocking chairs and my diminishing supply of Pol Roger. We started at 2pm and went through until about 7pm. During that time I was treated to two of the best cigars I have had this year in the Sancho Panza Sanchos and the Partagas De Partagas No 1. The Sancho was from 98 and the Partagas from 03. I will review both in detail on Monday but I wanted to give others an opportunity to give me their comments on these cigars or to fire them up over the weekend. Sublime.
cigardawg Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I have not smoked the Sancho Panza Sanchos. I really enjoy the Partagas de Partagas No. 1, however. It reminds me of a more straight-forward verson of the 898V, with loads of classic Partagas taste. I have sampled from both 01 and 03. Flavor-wise, I enjoy the 01s, but on the construction end, the 03s get the nod.
anacostiakat Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 My review of the Sancho stands. I have no experience with the Partagas. :-)
