El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 The Friends of Habanos 2007 online Texas Hold'em Tournament kicks off on Sunday Night (10th of December) 10pm NY time. Each night one tournament of 10 players will be played with the winner going through to the next round. Tournament rules will be posted on the 5th of December. Essentilally after the preliminary rounds are played we start the finals. Finals will be played on Sunday Nights NY time at 10PM. Preliminary rounds will be played Sunday through Thursday 10pm NY time. The exact number of rounds can not be assessed until we have all registrations for the tournament. At that time we will produce a tournament schedule. Last date for registrations is December the 5th. To be eligable to play you must have purchased two boxes of cigars (or combined 50 sticks) since the 1st of September. The grand prize is wrth $4500 USD / $8000 AUD Romeo y Julieta Edicion Limitada Humidor [link=http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/board_entry.php?id=29146#p29146]Link[/link] I now call on registrations for the tournament on this thread 1. Number off 2. Keep in mind, If you are late for your scheduled game you are out of the tournament. We sympathise but we are using others software and have no room for movement. 3. Practice using the online software here. Get a group of 5 (minimum) and play. Schedule a game for 10pm NY time each day just to get into the habit and work out any logon /registration hitches. 4. Australian Players. With your registration put (Australian) after your name or handle. We will arrange a seperate preliminary tournament times for Aussie members to correspond with 9pm Aussie time. If you would prefer to play NY time (10pm) then state that on your registration...ie Habanablue.....Australian....Prefer 10pm NY Time. I intend to win. I have no wish in giving away this humidor :-D
