Hello

I have bought this morning a little box with 3 Montecristo nº 4 and have seen that the cigar brand is like a sticker, no typical paper of Montecristo. I have bought they in El Corte Ingles tobacco shop (in Spain) and i'm sure that they aren't fake.

I still haven't smoke neither of them and i can't talk about tastes, but this new kind of vitola is awful

Bands prior to mid/late 2003 had a flat finish and were a slightly darker brown than the new version, which haave a glossy finish.

The new Montecristo band's greatest departure from the old version is its gloss. Whereas Montes once had dull paper bands, the new ones are shiny and quite smooth to the touch. The new color is more milk-chocolate brown, whereas the old version looks grayer. The two white dots that separate the words "Montecristo" and "Habana" have grown larger, and the fleur-de-lis has been sketched in more elaborate fashion
