Thank you Brethren for the very kind words and prayers and good wishes for Alyson and her Soldiers.....

It turned out to be an awesome Thanksgiving !!! She managed to telephone us at 02:00 Iraq Time - she was just finishing a shift at the hospital as a bunch of the Junior Officers swapped and took the Holiday Work so some of the Enlisted personnel could have the whole day off. It was the first time I heard her voice since July !!!! It was awesome !!!!!

The day started off with a short 2 minute TV clip of Alyson and our Son-in-Law sending their greetings back home to us here... It was aired on a Regional Cable TV Station - but it was a thrilling way to begin this Holiday season for us....

So again, thanks for your good wishes, I have passed them all along, and a Special Thanks and God Bless to all members of this Forum who have contacted me about sending a Holiday package or greeting to Afghanistan or Iraq.... May God Bless and Love You and Yours all the more for the kindness you showed.

Bless All Our Nations' Troops, American, Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand et al - Especially Those Deployed In Harms Way....
