El Presidente Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 A nice little quote sent through by FOH member PJ Byrne: "My rule of life prescribed as an absolutely sacred rite smoking cigars and also the drinking of alcohol before, after and if need be during all meals and in the intervals between them. " Winston Churchill

He takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.:-| By the way, I hope Im important enough one day where my quotes are quoted. "To smoke a fine cigar and to sip a fine rum is akin to sleeping with Heidi Klum....and I've done all three."
Ken Gargett Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 first, quite what alsace wines has to do with hitler is beyond me. he didn't drink wine and, granted the region has gone like a ping pong ball over the centuries depending on whether or not the germans are playing away or at home (the latter not always their preference), it is french. "please explain" actually i am a big fan of churchill - anyone who loved pol roger so much... as for quotes being remembered, good luck with that. there is always hope. i heard bill bryson interviewed once and he was asked what he would like people to be saying about him in 100 years. quick as a flash, the response - "isn't it amazing that he is still sexually active".
