Shooter Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 ...that you just never want to take it from your lips! An aroma that mesmerizes and you yearn to keep it close and never smoke it anywhere too breezy. You want it to linger close. Flavors that caress your tastebuds with subtlety but with tremendous complexity. You have to force yourself not to smoke it too fast lest it get's a bit hot and lose some of those magical flavors. Construction so fine that the slight resistance is "just right." The ash clings surprisingly long. A size which shouts "Gentlemen's cigar!" I just love 'em and am saddened they are no longer available. Glad there's at least a couple cabinets aging in the Aristocrat. What cigar you ask??? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >>>Partagas Lonsdale from the cabinet :-P
bassman Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 IMHO, the best Lonsdale & one of my favorite cigars. Need to petition Habanos to bring this one back.
xibbumbero Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 It was until I had a PL Lonsdale Regional release. X:-P

While I have not smoked the Partagas Lonsdale from the Cabinent, I have smoked many from dress boxes. Even this version gets my nod as the best lonsdale. I have yet to have a bad one.
El Presidente Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I had a 1997 Sancho Panza Molinos on the weekend which just danced on my tongue. It was as if somone was alternately dripping ultafine drops of honey and cream onto the buds. Just exquisite
