Claudius Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Just got my 3 boxes. Got 3 single PLLs and a SLR Churchill as a gift with them!
Well Armed Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 » Will these ever be regular release sticks ? Probably in a few years. I'm gonna smoke one tonight. I will post a review tomorrow. I know, too young but F it.

I know, too young but F it. I look forward to your review, though I really hope to smoke one soon myself. I've ordered two boxes but nothing in the mail so far. :-( I bought some Bolivar Colosales singles while I was at it, but do I have the nerve to try them soon? Probably not...

I know, too young but F it. I think it's totally normal to smoke one right away. After all, we're all curious to get an idea of the cigar. I'm smoking one right now (the cigars came packed in a plastic bag with a 69% RH Humidipak). Very fruity (dried fruit), cedary and much more body than I would have expected.
Claudius Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 » I've ordered two boxes but nothing in the mail so far. :-( If you ordered by regular mail, you'll be disappointed. What the Germans call DHL is in fact the German mail (they bought DHL). I ALWAYS ask for UPS when getting stuff from Germany. Got UPS for free btw :-)
cvm4 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 » Will these ever be regular release sticks ? They actually used to be a part of the regular PL line. Then they were discontinued. Now, I guess we'll find out in a couple years.

No cigars in the mail today either but I did receive an order receipt  Maybe tomorrow then...This waiting is so frustrating!
KB24 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I just ordered a box without knowing a damn thing about them just because Tampa1257 told me to. Are they different from the regular PL Lonsdales? What kind of flavor profile do they have or will they have after a year or 2 in the humi. I basically don't know anything about them so any information is much appreciated. I know they were only 2400 boxes but thats it. -Patrick AKA kb24
DrAlejandro Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 those things look awesome... very nice buy man

CIGARHead Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » Gorgeous cigars. » » » » Damn right they are pretty. Glad I scored 2 boxes because I know I wont be able to keep my hands off 'em. Notice how the PL Lonsdale bands are much clearer and better made than the PLPC?
avid toker Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » Gorgeous cigars. » » » » Indeed, I'm letting my boxes settle from their travels and hope to spark one up in a few weeks. Maybe I'll even compare a vintage PL Lonsdale to these newer ones at somepoint.:-)
