Yesterday I went to a friend's place for a night of poker, drinks and cigar. So I decided it was time to try my first of 5 singles I bought 6 months ago.

I read a review from Ken on August/2005, but I was curious what others think of this cigar now.

I was a little underwhelmed by this one. Construction was perfect as was the appearence on this one. But the flavours were very one dimensional for me. I did not find the typical toasty H. Upmann taste, but rather a very floral taste that I was not very fond of. This was my first one so I might try another one this week and do a more thorough review.

Would love to hear some opinions on this one.

Same here. I bought a box when they first came out. I have had 5 of them so far with nothing to brag about. Not alot of in depth flavor.

So I will let them sit around in hopes of them changeing a bit, along with some others. Boli RC 2006, smoked 5 out of the box so far and all have not been that great. Siglo 4s will need LOTZ of time, and the list goes on and on

Smoked a box, liked them, bought 3 more to let sit for a while. I heard somewhere that it is very important to get the initial release of the LEs (which mine were/are).

It is not a cigar I reach for that often as opposed to the Magnum 46 which has probably now moved to my top 10.

The 50 LE was not bad fresh when released. It has since lost it's way. I hope it finds a way out of the abyss shortly.

I smoked one last night and I found it to be pretty strong but under-developed. If my experience with other LEs are any indication these are meant to be set down for a while. The first two releases are just starting to become smokeable while my PSD3 and Hoyo Pyr. are boring and a bit harsh. Be patient my friends.
