Colt45
Predominantly sangiovese, with a bit of merlot and pinot nero. Ripe dark fruit with stiff but smooth tannins. Integrated hints of oak. A slightly watery finish, but I think this would not be an issue if I had allowed it to warm up a bit more. I love Italian wines, and this one is no exception - along with Rufina, a nice alternative to many Classicos.

Our Tosser Wine Reviewer...Ken Gargett....is away catching fish this week before heading to New Zealand for a wine tasting. It may be a while before he has the opportunity to bore you senseless with his thoughts on Italian vino ;-)
