Miami101 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 This is great to see the photos. One of my older friends I play Dominios with was talking about this cigar...Wow this is major collectors items....It is a part of Cigar histroy.
Jack Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Very nice Cuban Presidencial presentation cabinet - and cigar of course! Best guess would be late 1950-1955. Pretty clear who it was presented to and whom it was from! Excellent provenance right there for all to see. Note the Cuban tax stamp under the band. When/if you do smoke this cigar please scan the tax stamp as sometimes the company name is overstamped across it - giving you the maker of the cigar. Very nice.
El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 This is a remarkable gift from FOH member Jim Lightstone who is spending a few days with us here. This cigar is 165mm x 42 Ring Guage and wrapped in cellophane. It has a remarkable history. Thankyou Jim! We will be complete a story board and frame it under humidification for hanging in Czar House.
