Jim Lightstone flew in from NY via New Zealand to spend a few days with Lise, myself and Smithy. We haven't got much work done and it is the reason we have been away from the Forum.

Just came home from from an afternoon of red wine, cigars, and a nice deafood dinner.

Tomorrow we have a long lunch planned with the local members.

Anytime you guys want to come on down...you know you are welcome

What is this deafood that you speak of? Is it a fancy word for barbecued dingo? :-P

If you check out the thread headed "check out these member pics" you'll see that they have been shooting Barrimundi and reeling in wild boar loaded with parasites. Er, wait, that could be the other way round. Either way, thats my guess on the ingredients for deafood.

I was thinking that perhaps he meant to split it up as deaf- 'ood - 'ood being short

for hood, hood being slang for the elusive hooded wombat.

They go after the deaf ones because they're easier to catch.

I read it on the internet, so I figure it must be true.

Actually, in the southern hemisphere the D is on the other side where the K is just above the P. It's got something to do with the tilt of the earth affecting the flow of information through cyberspace. Kind of like the water flowing in a different direction down the plug hole. ;-)
