Boli RC Lovers?

Smoked an early 2005 Boli RC last night and it was very good. Mellow and toasty with lots of flavor and a strong finish. Toasted tobacco with yeasty undertones and dark coca aromas interspersed with fresh potting dirt. Who else likes the Boli RC? I do! Very underrated. Lots of Boli flavor with a little bit more added in for suaveness and relaxation.

You described the 2005 Boli RC perfectly. Along with the Rass it was the most consistent Robusto in terms of construction and flavour last year (IMHO).

I'm a huge fan of the Boli RC!

As Rob said....your description of the 05 Boli RC is right on the money. I've had a few and they all have been good young...which I can't say for most young cigars I smoke.

I just smoked the first cigar out of an Aug 03 box last night and it was fantastic! I love the Boli RC with 2-3 years of age, not as in-your-face with subtle complexity, smooth with a hint of sweetness on the finish.

A great cigar young or with a few years.

I am. Smoked another 01 a few night ago. Wish I had kept more of the three boxes I bought. Down to 3 or 4.

An extraodinary smoke volume, both very smooth on the palate and yet full of flavor. Velvety, toned down from the powerhouse that it was, but more complete now.

The only newer ones I have are from Feb06 and have not sampled yet. Figured they would be a waste this young.

Got a box of '01's from Rob last month and just started smoking a few. While those I've had from '04 were good, these are incredible smokes! Full flavored and ready to enjoy now!
