hey from firenze

Just thought id pop in and say hey while checking my email over here in firenze (florence). I was out for the soccer last night which was amazing. Spent the first half in some restuarent/bar wondering 'where are all the young people?' (ah this euro keyboard is aweful for punctuation) then took a bit of a trek at half time all the way across the city following some noises we heard and stumbled across a massive crowd watching it on a bigscreen. everything was going off which was awesome, i cant really describe what it was like, you just had to be there. ill post some photos when i get back home in a few weeks. i found it a bit strange that all of the largest central piazas were empty , and we had no idea where anyone was until later.

spent a very relaxing week in the umbrian hill before this. ill post some photos of that too. beautiful country. leaving here in a few days heading up to Provence in the south of france, then Annesy before finishing up in paris. should be a good time. i might check in later in the week. oh, and i think i found my favourite place to smoke in the world (umbria). ah gotta dash, my time is running out. i think its about time for a glass of wine

I lived in Florence for a year, a long long time ago. Wonderful city. But now that I smoke cigars, I wonder, how are the tobacco shops for cubans?
