Hi there

This is my first post. I've been reading a few months now allready and it's nice to be in touch with down under. :-)

I live in Switzerland and smoke and collect Habanos for a hobby.

Now to the above question. First I have to say, that I don't have first hand information. I don't own a box and have never smoked one. Seen I have a few though. Lately the Partagas Coronas Grandes have appeared in the German market. The boxes are from 2000 to 2002 (I belive). The overall consense in German cigarforums is that the cigar is bland, a lot of them are pluged and people don't seem to like it too much. I belive the cigar is found not to have the typical Partagas characteristics. Now on the other hand I know of one real German expert that says that they are a fine smoke.

Interesstingly enough MRN says in the "bible" that he has never seen this cigar.

Regards,

Tom

Reid, I will check my production notes on Monday when I am back at CZAR House. I don't think we have seen them down here.
