Jimmy2 Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Bolivar Petit Coronas from a cab (50) Nov 05 SVF Well they did it again the kids out side 10:34 PM screaming and yelling woke my kid up (almost 1 year old).So I thought I would go down stairs and write a review and give them nasty stare downs until one of them say something stupid and than I could unleashed the animal in me and teach them a lesion in manors. But as they had seen I was there and not joking staring them down they left one by one mission accomplished now the review. Pre light smell : Sweet honey and floral noted. Cap: Perfect triple cap Lear color : Golden brown with some dark streaks .Smooth to the touch with minimal viens.Oily wrapper with a nice shine. 1st part: Ammonia present but not strong. Flavors:Strong tobacco ,classic Cuban twang on taste buds and salty. Med stealth and full flavor. 1/2 way point:Sweet butter, salty and Cuban twang still present .Also Thick honey coated on my tongue and buds. Med strength and full flavor. Down to the nub:Salty, strong tobacco flavor ,honey and now some licorice present. This cigar is now picking up some steam.New flavors now present vanilla and bread as crazy as it sounds. Med to strong with full flavor. One thing this cigar had a great after taste long after I was done smoking it. All in all a great cigar with some time to stabilize in the humidor who know what else this cigar has to offer.Just hope I don't have to review this cigar under the same circumstances. 89/100 Also noted cigar burned perfect and it belongs in every serious cigar smokers humidor.
El Presidente Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 If that is the standard of review when you are pissed off....I hope those kids come back Great review mate!
JMH Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I hope you told them to keep off your lawn? ;-) Nice review. P.S I wouldn't mind if you gave me a few manors, preferably one in Ireland, and one in Italy :-P
effinwill Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 » I wouldn't mind if you gave me a few manors, preferably » one in Ireland, and one in Italy :-P I suppose you would like him to give you some lesions, as well? :-)
olotti Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Darn kids, nice review though. It's nice to know even the young one's are smoking real well, something about that SVF code me thinks as I have some BBF's with SVF and they are fantastic as is every other smoke I have with the SVF code.
Shooter Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I gifted one of these the other night to Boss Hog's brother, Ed. I think it was about every five minutes he kept saying "MAN! That's a fantastic cigar!!!" If he said it once he said it fifty times! LOL! I know amigo, I know...them's darn good cigars!! Thanks for the write-up!
