Partagas de Partagas No. 1 (Aug 03)

This my first review so bear with me

Received these last month and after letting rest lit one up last night and here is what I found

Box Code = CUA-AUG 03

Construction = very well rolled, tight but not overly so, medium brown in color with nice sheen, very nice to look at

Draw = prelight draw was perfect and very spicey, after lighting draw is right on with loads of smoke coming through, burned staight all the way never had to touch up

Taste = these are strong with heavy peppery spice and wood taste, can just barley taste partagas fruity taste underneath, calms down in a little in middle then picks back up till the end. not a complex mixture of tastes, just a heavy spicey smoke

Overall Impression = heard these described as a bikers cigar, I would agree, just a good strong smoke which I like at times

Sounds like we had a very similar experience with this cigar. I didn't even see this post as I was doing my review of the same cigar. Great review.

Thanks for the review. I'll keep an eye out for those. Altough, I'm not a big fan of the peppery taste, I'm up to try one of those "Biker cigars"
