I could afford a bigger place .... if I gave up cigars ....

It's a cross between "Post WWII London" and "Early Garage Sale" with just a hint of "Not Even Ikea Would Sell That Crap."

But it's home. And a nice view.

Well, this is turning into a genuine herf ...

Dean - better remember to bring your hat to make it official.

Going there today after work to confirm table and see what's good to eat Saw the weather for Sunday ... looks like it's hot & muggy ... will reserve a table inside. I'll make it for ten people... who knows who might show up.

Looks like I'm going to bring my dad along too. He doesn't smoke anymore, but said he'd come along.

Is there a dress code? Since it will be hot on Sunday, do they allow dress shorts?

Casual is fine.

Shorts, dress or denim, fine.

Sneakers, fine.

Sandals, fine.

Tshirts, fine.

Reservation under my name. I should get there by 1pm. Carmella will be outside ... Pauline inside... probably served by Pauline.

Had a FRIED (not baked) calzone stuffed with prosciutto last night. If everyone is very quiet you can actually hear my arteries harden.

» I may have a change in plans. I just got word that I may have a chance to

You mean the Mayweather fight.

Well, lemme tell you ... these guys are some of the nicest, most generous fellows, and spending the aftenroon with them is guaranteed to be great fun ... but I would kick them to the curb in a heartbeat to go to this fight!

Geoffrie,

I just had a nice conversation with Larry at the restaurant about how you were looking to kick him into the curb tomorrow --

- forget the AC fight --- the one at Florio's with you and Larry and some of his friends is going to have more action ;-)

See you there !!!!! BTW - I hope I haven't mis-spoken.......

Not misspoken, just misread ... I was kicking you guys to the curb.

I thought he was still in fishing in Florida ... besides ... give Larry the choice and he would be sitting right next to me at the Mayweather fight.

Besides, Larry is never there on Sundays... and as long as I have Ralph and Pauline on my side I'm not worried... mostly Pauline ...and I can call in Jerry if I need him.

Pre herf

Thank you Geoff for accomodating me on such a perfect Saturday.

You will be receiving another vintage vino in the mail soon, I can guarantee you that.

It was funny. Since the NY Brothers way of herfing is to make ready cigars for the company. I had readied a Punch monarca in tubo and a RyJ Churchill in tubo for Geoff. He also had readied the same items for me!!!

Gents, the food is a Triumph in Italian Cooking, the expresso-a form of aviation fuel and the wine selection, an excellent collection. havent tried the Fried Calzone and the famous veal. but just the aperitif of meats, and cheeses went well with the expresso and the Monarca that I was having. Dessert fanatics need not be disappointed since Ferrara's is actually across the street from Florios.

Rob...your trip to NY promises to be an exciting one!!

:-)

Yet another fun time hanging out with Roman, Dean, Geoffrey and Gene. .......This time at Florios.

The food, OH the food!!!:hungry: And Dessert!:yes:Terrific!

We smoked some FINE cigars, too. :ok:

Yum!

Good Time.

The more NYC herfs, the better.

funny thing Kevin, when I called, your father-in-law said you were off marching in some parade in the city?

Very nice to see old friends. Those of us in the Fat Bastid Competition took a serious step back yesterday.

Will post pics later this afternoon... and Gene best not be threatening me! Ferrara's delivers! I'll send you into a diabetic coma!

ANOTHER awesome herf experience with some of the finest cigar smokers and friends around anywhere. The quality of the awesome food was only eclipsed by some of the legendary cigars being distributed and of course the unsurpassed quality of the Company.

Bros. Gene, Dino, Geoff, Steven - can't wait till our next event.... This Roger guy missed out on an OUTSTANDING gathering......

» So Geoff, Is 93 or 92 a good year?

»

Well, 93 was a good year for tiramisu whereas 92 was a better year for cannoli?

Was that your question?

Yes, maybe a 93 Temple Breuer chardonnay?

Which would go very well with the Italian Cheesecake

or a Green point Shiraz Victoria from 02

to go well with the Veal Scallopini that is too large that it screams

Intestinal Obstruction...

as a response to your query......as ilikecigars would say

I got two words for you and they are not "Happy Birthday"
